"OUR FATHER"

Our Statement of Faith: When we pray, “OUR FATHER”, we make our Declaration of Faith.

When we say “OUR FATHER”, we are saying that we believe in God through the Holy Spirit, Jesus as the only Son of God, the Christ anointed to show us God, The Lord that made the Heavens and the earth; and made us to know Him; living in a body, alive forevermore, where He is most at home, seated in Heaven beside “Our Father” at His throne interceding in “OUR” behalf, and who is soon coming again to receive us unto Himself, that where He is we may be also. It is He that says “OUR” to Our Father.

Christ makes the “OUR” Ours.

Through the Holy Spirit we know the “OUR” to be ours when we say with the Son and the Spirit; the Holy Spirit bear us witness with our spirit that we are the Sons of God. We are an answer to His prayer (John 17) by the all inclusive term, that we all be one. (“Those who shall believe on Him”)We enter into His presence through the Holy Spirit, saying: “OUR FATHER WHO IS IN HEAVEN.”

Our shows possession:
We are Yours
You are ours
We are not alone
We belong to each other
We owe each other (a debt of love)
We represent us.
There is no singular personal pronoun in “Our” all encompassing prayer to “OUR” Father. (No I, me, my or mine)

“I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for ALL men.” (I Tim.2:1)

Who is on our Most Wanted list? Just our four and no more?
God “Desires all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.” (I Tim.2:4)

ABBA FATHER – (Steve Fry with David Allen and Tom Fettke)
Abba Father, Abba Father,
Deep within my soul I cry.
Abba Father, Abba Father,
I will never cease to love You.

Now – We can sing – “The Lord’s Prayer” Our Father which art in Heaven . . .
